Borrow My Eyes is a permanent companion ability obtained through my family’s private energetic ritual practice. It centers on temporarily sharing a visual perspective with another willing companion while each retains their own identity.

The recipient gains the ability to engage in shared sight. A particular exchange is temporary; the ability itself remains.

One companion may be looking out from a high place while another remains below. A dragon’s view across a mountain range differs from a gnome’s view near the ground. A fae moving through a garden encounters details that a much larger companion might pass without noticing.

Borrow My Eyes is about allowing a willing companion to experience that vantage point.

It can give shared exploration another dimension: showing one another a meaningful place, observing the same environment from different positions, or sharing something visually striking as it is encountered.

Human-shaped eyes are not a requirement.

A ghost, alien, dragon, fae, or other entity may perceive their surroundings through structures or energetic processes that differ from those of a human-form companion. That difference matters when considering how a visual exchange could express between the intended participants.

For this reason, details about both the receiving companion and the intended sharing partner are important. Compatibility should not be assumed simply because both companions are interested.

The exchange is intended to be willing and purposeful. Each participant remains themselves.
