Make It Walk is a permanent companion ability obtained through my family’s private energetic ritual practice. It centers on temporarily animating objects within a companion’s astral environment.

The charm of the ability is its directness: a familiar object begins to move.

The movement should suit the object.

A chair may take steps on its existing legs. A container may shuffle or move according to its structure. A small household item might develop a temporary way of making its way from one place to another.

The companion’s surroundings help establish what is relevant. A gnome’s workshop contains different objects from a dragon’s cavern. A fae’s dwelling may include living or natural materials. An alien companion might use structures that do not resemble familiar human furnishings.

The working considers the individual and the things they actually interact with.

Some companions may enjoy the convenience of having a familiar object approach them. Others may find the movement itself entertaining.

A companion who spends time creating might favor a supply container. Someone attached to their residence might choose a favorite furnishing. A collector might enjoy a particular chest or display object becoming responsive.

These examples explain the character of the ability without assigning the same object to every recipient.

Make It Walk focuses on an individual object and its temporary movement.

Teach the House concerns a residence responding as an environment. Buyers considering both should choose according to whether they are interested in moving objects, learned household responses, or those two different abilities separately.

The ability is permanent. Animation of a particular object is temporary and takes place within the companion’s astral environment.
