Teach the House is a permanent companion ability obtained through my family’s private energetic ritual practice. It centers on teaching an existing astral residence particular responses to its resident.

The home does not have to be a house in the human sense.

A dragon may live within a cavern or mineral estate. A gnome may have a workshop beneath roots. A fae may occupy a living tree dwelling. A ghost’s residence may be shaped around atmosphere and familiar spaces. An alien companion may inhabit structures with unusual geometry or entirely different arrangements.

The starting point is the companion’s own residence and how they use it.

The concept focuses on recognizable responses: welcoming the resident, preparing a familiar setting, or rearranging part of the environment for an established activity.

An entrance might respond to their return. A workspace might prepare its usual arrangement. A retreat might shift into the atmosphere the companion associates with rest.

The response should be meaningful and specific. “Prepare the room for the activity they enjoy” provides a clearer direction than a vague request for the residence to do everything.

Teach the House concerns the abode as an environment.

Make It Walk focuses on the temporary animation of individual objects. This offering is centered on learned household behavior and the relationship between the residence and its inhabitant.
