Follow the Thread is a permanent companion ability obtained through a personalized energetic ritual from my family’s private practice. The working is approached in relation to the recipient’s own nature, form, and existing abilities.

The route becomes something the companion can recognize: embroidery along a passage, distinct footprints, luminous spores, or a connected line of floating stones.

Its expression should suit the individual. A dragon might leave a line of illuminated marks, a fae a fine living thread, and an alien a sequence of geometric points. The recognizable continuity of the route is the important feature.

Leave a Light On marks a particular place. Follow the Thread records a path through the environment. The examples concern the companion’s own astral exploration.

For this offering, please describe preferred trail form and the environments they commonly explore. Concrete details about their preferences and surroundings are more useful than selecting a particular example simply because it appears in the artwork. The aim is an expression that belongs to the individual companion.

The ability is permanent. Where its use involves a temporary manifestation, position, or effect, permanence refers to the companion’s retained ability to engage it, rather than an effect that must remain active continuously.

The energetic rituals behind this collection were developed within my family and handed down to me. I offer this work exclusively through The Witch’s Vessel. I have never encountered another practitioner who could reproduce this form of magick.
