Illusion Casting is a permanent companion ability obtained through a personalized energetic ritual from my family’s private practice. The working is approached in relation to the recipient’s own nature, form, and existing abilities.

A changed room appearance, a theatrical figure, an imagined landscape, or an agreed game of disguises can give the ability a purpose. The intended audience and sensory details affect how the illusion is personalized.

An illusion changes perceived appearance rather than necessarily producing a functional object or changing the companion's actual form. That distinguishes it from Conjuration and Shapeshifting. Shared experiences should involve willing participants.

The ability belongs to the existing companion and is used within their spiritual or astral experience. Personalization considers what they already do, what they want to develop, and how the new ability can fit their individual nature.

For this offering, please describe preferred sensory effects, intended setting and participants, and experience with projection. Concrete details about their preferences and surroundings are more useful than selecting a particular example simply because it appears in the artwork. The aim is an expression that belongs to the individual companion.

The ability is permanent. Where its use involves a temporary manifestation, position, or effect, permanence refers to the companion’s retained ability to engage it, rather than an effect that must remain active continuously.
